2023 Chamber of Commerce Years of Service Award
John ‘Doc’ Amato
The GOTCC would like to pay tribute this year to John ‘Doc’ Amato for his decades of service to the Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce. Under his leadership and guidance, the Chamber has been able to continue the long tradition of awarding the youth in our community with scholarships to ease the burden of their college education.
Due to his relentless efforts, the GOTCC Comedy Night and Gift Auction has become an annual highly anticipated signature event attracting huge crowds and generating substantial donations to make the scholarships possible. Over the last three decades, ‘Doc’ volunteered countless hours, sat on numerous committees and help drive the mission of the organization forward with his continuous contributions of time and talent.
