Ocean Township, NJ –The Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce (GOTCC) has donated $1,500 to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, presented to Ashley DiRobbio, Coordinator of the National Golf Series. The contribution represents a portion of the proceeds from the Chamber’s 2025 Ansell Grimm & Aaron “Golfing Fore Heroes” Golf Outing.
The check presentation took place at the GOTCC’s monthly networking event held at the newly opened Route 35 Bar & Liquors, 1107 Rt. 35, Ocean. Golf Committee Co-Chairs Marty Arbus and Jason Carris were on hand to present the check.
The golf outing was held Monday, September 8th at Jumping Brook Country Club, Neptune. Since the event fell the week of Patriot Day, A National Day of Service and Remembrance, the Chamber used the timing to fundraise for The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and our local first responders.
“We’re proud to support organizations that make a difference both nationally and here at home,” said Regina Longo, Executive Director GOTCC. “The timing of this annual event near Patriot Day made this contribution especially meaningful.”
Additional donations will be made to our local first responders, Township of Ocean Police Department and the Asbury Park, Oakhurst and Wanamassa Fire Departments.
