GREATER OCEAN TOWNSHIP CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COMEDY NIGHT A GREAT SUCCESS!
Ocean Township, NJ – The Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce (GOTCC) held its Annual Comedy Night & Gift Basket Auction fundraiser presented by VCS HR on Thursday, November 20th at The Renaissance, Ocean Township.
The Boss’ 107.1 Morning Show DJ, Rochelle Gagnon entertained the crowd as the Master of Ceremonies. This year’s headliner comedians were Joey Vega and Fred Rubino. The duo kept the audience laughing all night long. “It was obvious by the reaction of the crowd that these comedians were resonating with this group,” said David Kolakowski, GOTCC Board President. “It was great to see people out having such a good time. It was exactly what we all needed!”
The event began with a cocktail reception, gift auction viewing, and networking followed by a buffet dinner, open beer and wine bar and the comedy show.
The Comedy Night & Gift Auction’s main goal is to raise the funds to allow the GOTCC to award annual scholarships to deserving local high school students, lessening the burden of pursuing their higher education.
“The gift auction is an important part of the event. We would like to thank all of our generous donors for the amazing variety of gifts. Without their generosity, it would not be possible to award these scholarships,” stated Regina Longo, GOTCC’s Executive Director.
Information about scholarship applications and eligibility requirements will be posted on the GOTCC website soon.
